“ Outstanding Aussies. I had lost faith in the Oz music scene 30 years ago, but this album revived it. Will listen to the others and probably buy them, “Outstanding” mixture of beats/ rhythms/ vocals/ instrumentation, if you enjoy funk, jazz, reggae, world, rap, psychadelia beats this album will more than satisfy” author: Kiddus, itunes
“More funky grooves to chill and thrill you. This album is somewhat different from the previous two but in a good way. A bit more dancy, funky but still with that happy, easygoing spirit we have come to know and love with OKA. A bit of a reggae vibe and more synth music find their way in, but nothing is sacrificed or lost with the changes. Another well worn favourite in my car, ipod etc. See these guys live if you can possibly do it. And buy all their CD's - you won't regret it! “ author: Penny in Toronto, CDBaby
ONE TALK released 2003
"If you are from the same family, village, province, region, country or just plain friend...you are my wantok (onetalk). One heart, one love, one talk...." This is the essence of what onetalk means in Torres Strait Island culture.
The painting on the cover - painted by OKA's DidgeriStu - depicts the meeting of each of the band members' journeys to form OKA.

“It's not too often that a second album, following up on a simply jawdropping debut, matches ones' hopes and expectations. Onetalk is just as amazing, transfiguring, and inspiring as their first and again it has the power to induce calm and peace, a breathing space to regain hopes, energies and set goals...like their first album this Australian trio's new album is a world class release and I hope that everyone everywhere gets to enjoy it. It's the kind of CD that you spread the news about with an almost missionary fervour....10/10" -

“An absolutely brilliant CD which brings calm, almost spiritual beauty right to the front of your mind, it banishes cares and creates peace. Oka combines soft gentle Sufi style devotional singing, Chicane type wafting electronica, synth and tabla beats, gentle woodwinds, acoustic guitar, and didgeridoo. If you remember Tribal Trance, this is many steps nearer nirvana. Absolutely the best such CD this year....10/10 “- Andrew Tucker, Entertainer Magazine
